It has been more than 35 days and there is no update regarding the case. My 221g form was about Resume, Travel details, Research etc submission.
What could be the approximate time frame to expect a response?
Update - Re-submitted the similar documents on 6th Feb and waiting for the consulate to process it.
Got an email to submit Passport on 30th March 2015.
6th April morning - Status changed to "Issued"
