Attended interview on Dec 4th and was asked to wait for an email for additional processing. I turned in my resume, research plan, travel itinerary along with the other question in the questionnaire the very same day. TAL case!
I have a Pharma background and work in a Pharma company in a R&D setup. I was given 211 g back in 2010 for my F1 visa which got cleared in 21 working days. Wonder what's taking them so long.
Also I don't see many cases from Hyderabad consulate here pending from November so I have no idea what the hold is for to get Dec TAL cases cleared.
Status got updated to 2 Feb 2015.
Second status update: Feb 6th
Third status update : Feb 9th to show ISSUED!
Received an email to collect passport on 10th Feb. Passport collected!!
Processing time since document submission was exactly 60 days. Additional 10 days for final visa processing and passport stamping.
