This is my 2nd H1B visa interview (received 221(g) the first time as well, which got resolved within 3 weeks). I have a PhD in EE and work in R&D of a technology company. I was visiting the UK on a work trip.
Consular officer asked me to submit CV, List of Publications and Company letter, which I did during the interview.
3/30/2015: Received e-mail from Consulate to send passport! Thanks immihelp users for the constant support and tracker updating! All the best to those waiting! It took me 49 days to get an update.
3/30/2015: Submitted passport at the courier drop-off center in London. I'll update the status to approved as soon as I receive the passport back.
Status date changed to 4/1/2015 and 4/2/2015 on the CEAC website. The Embassy did confirm that they have the passport with them.
Status changed to ISSUED in the afternoon of 4/2/2015. Now waiting for courier to deliver the passport.
