Notes:
The interview was very brief. Handed over my passport and DS2019 and the VO asked me if i am working on so and so project. I said yes. He handed me a blue slip and told me my case requires administrative processing. Also, told me i am probably used to this since I have been to the US several times. I said yes and handed him a letter from my prof saying that my work is not TAL related. But, VO said that he needs to do his job to keep his boss happy (ie) hand me the 221g. The VO also told me that I should get my visa in 2 weeks on 9 Feb 2015!! Nothing yet!! I have a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology and i am assuming it's a visa mantis check. 31 March 2015 - Issued. Picked up my passport today - 1 april 2015. Took 7 weeks to get my visa.
