Notes:
I am a researcher at a quite well-known company. The visa officer asked a few questions about the nature of my job, salary etc. At the end, she asked about my area of research (which happens to be in the TAL) and then issued me a blue slip without anything ticked. She took only my passport and returned everything else. One important note: She specifically told me "Please contact us if you don't see an update within two weeks." There have not been any updates since the beginning. It has been more than four weeks, and I have been getting only generic automated responses when I try to contact the embassy. I got in touch with a human being finally and they asked me to mail [email protected] explaining my case. Any tips on whether I should try to mail [email protected] would be greatly appreciated. Would it hurt my case if I contact [email protected] or [email protected]? Thanks for your help!
