My interview was on 16th March and submitted documents on 18th but, did not receive any confirmation email from Mumbai consulate about documents received. I called NVC and they confirmed documents have been received. Now just waiting for consulate email or any status update.
04/27/2015 - Received email to submit passport. It's been long wait.
04/28/2015 - Submitted documents - green slip, copy of email, passport and copy of I797
04/29/2015 - status updated date
04/30/2015 - Status - Issued.
05/04/2015 - passport collected
Have faith and patience. It takes time, however eventually it gets approved. All the best.
