I had my J1 Visa Interview on 20th April 2015. The consular officer asked me nothing but my name. She took my DS-2019 checked something on her computer. Checked my Passport. After Sometime Handed me a Green Slip and returned my passport and my DS-2019 and told me to email the documents to [email protected]. After I came home I emailed the documents but didn't get any auto response hence I emailed the same to [email protected]. They forwarded my documents to the concerned authorities(Although their way of operating wasn't lucid I was always skeptical about the receipt of my documents). After exactly a month on 20th May 2015 I received an email stating to submit my passport and my DS-2019. I have submitted and my status is also updated. To everyone who is waiting I know the pain in waiting is excruciating but hold on there you will get your VISA soon. Best Wishes.
