Notes:
I had been granted an expedited visa interview as classes are due to start on 14th August (1 month 9 days from now). I had planned my travel to the US on 27th July 2015. After a long and extremely detailed visa interview at the Chennai Embassy which went pretty well, I was pointed out that some of the details I explained about the projects I've been part of with my previous employer was not mentioned on my resume. He handed me a blue slip (221G) and asked me to email the updated resume to the embassy (I'm still confused how it relates to F1 student visa), which I had done the very same day. Is there any way to get my application processed fast as my classes starts soon. It is just a small updation in my resume, which I'm assuming wont take much time to process. The original date of interview which was given to me is July 10th. Is there a way I can attend that interview with my updated resume and i20, but no passport, as they had collected it during my expedited interview.
