Had my interview for L1A blanket on 11-May-2015.
VO just asked about highest degree and area of work (semiconductors), asked for my offer of employment letter, and my resume. I have been with this company for last 8 years, and this is a new position within same company.
No more questions why I was going to US or my work profile etc.
Crossed the 90 day limit now. Contacted chennai consulate, state department, ustraveldocs by phone/fax/email. Every time the same reply - we have everything we need, still in processing, we re making progress, no date for closure, please wait.
Crossed 4 month mark - it seems I am in for the long haul. Case stuck with FBI doing background checks. Trying to contact senators office to get more info and escalate.
Crossed 5 months - status still the same. Senators office of no use.
