Had my interview for F1 (PH.D- chemistry) on 17th july ....VO asked few questions and said your visa has been approved but we need few documents for processing your visa.
i have a must attend workshop in my university on 22nd aug..... keeping my fingers crossed.....
On the check visa status website link ... it is showing AP

Status Updated Date: 17-Jul-2015(AP)
Recently on 5th Aug it changed to AP and then to Issued.....
Status Update Date: 05-Aug-2015(AP)
Status Update Date: 05-Aug-2015(Issued) same day changed to issued....
Passport pick up email - 06 - AUG - 2015... F1 issued for 4 yrs.....
