My interview was initially scheduled on June 23, but because of technical problems with the visa systems, all appointments that week were cancelled and we were asked to reschedule our biometrics and visa appointments after July 6 2015. I called and confirmed that the email I received was valid and logged in to reschedule. However the first date I book an appointment was July 27th. No priority was given to get an earlier date.
Actual interview was just typical questions on where i work, what do i work on, my education. Surprisingly i was not asked for my I797. Seemed like the decision was already made before my interview that it is administrative processing. I had got 221g when I first went in for my F1.. so once you get it, seems like it sticks for life!
No update to date. 31 days since interview. Anyone knows how much time is typical for H1?
