VO aske if i was arrested , i said NO
she seemed puzzled , left counter and came back with her supervisor, they discussed for 5 mins
she asked few simple questions about my employment
and handed me a white slip and took my passports (self and 2 dependents )
did not check any box , just admin process required .
did not ask for documents till this date.
i was asked to attend for re interview again on 8th sep and asked regular questions on employer.
and my visa was approved .
my case was updated on 9th saying administrative process
on 10 it was updated as issued
on 11 it got a mail to pick passports
it took exactly 1 month for me in this case form 1st visa interview (11 Aug) to pick passport mail (11 Sep)
i have asked senator from my state (IL) to request for resolution to my case and they promptly sent a request to DOS.
i cant say it helped or not but after they sent request it took 2 weeks .
