Update: My client manager told methat he was sent an email by USCIS for enquiry which he responded on 9/26
1. Attended biometrics at the Mumbai consulate on 9/2. Went without a hitch, completed the process in 10 mins
2. Attended the interview at Mumbai consulate on 9/3 with my wife.
VO: Good morning, how are you?
Me: very well and you?
VO: passports and 797 please
Me: (submitted)
VO: is this for h1b
Me: yes, for restamping
VO asked standard questions regarding employer, salary,etc also asked if love or arranged marriage
Took some time , called another officer and spent few minutes on the computer.
After some time handed over whiteslip and said everything fine from my side, he needs more details from employer side.
I asked if i can submit any letters (i had all the client letters) , but he said he needs from employer.
I talked to employer and attorney, and documents were submitted on 9/8
