They requested document as per their 221(G) PDF Doc.
I have sent the same to them on 24th. Still waiting.
Last time they approved it after 8 months and issued it for 1 year duration. No travel made. This time around they canceled earlier one without prejudice and issued 221g. Not sure why they canceled earlier one if it was expired already.
Also not sure why they send it for security clearance every time. Not sure if they do not understand the provision or they play safe or their monitoring system triggers false alarm.
I am now going to wait atleast for 8 months not sure the ideal time wait. My previous exp. with 221g was horroundus 8 months.
I guess this would have improved by each passing year.

----> Issued on 19th Oct
So as said earlier. If you see your update status date changed on 221g tracker than in a day or two you are going to have golden words. ISSUED
