Interview went well with a few basic questions asked about petitioner name, client name and previous approved visa.
I was previously approved for a F1 in 2009 with a pink slip when i had to wait 3 months. When the visa officer questioned about my masters degree and field of education, there was a long pause as she was staring at her screen.
After a while she said she needs more time to make a decision and it can take 2 to 5 business days but she did mention it was approved.
No documents were asked and the blue slip (221 g) was checked for administrative processing. Today is the 6th business day and I am not sure if she was serious about the time frame.
12/09:- I haven' t heard back from the Consulate. Today can be considered the 10th business day as Chennai Us Embassy was off on Dec 7th due to the floods and they were not fully operational in the first week of December.
