12/20/2015: Submitted 221g documents and received confirmation email from [email protected]
1/13/2016: Received email about passport submission
1/14/2016: Submitted passport to Mumbai VFS
1/15/2016: Status date on CEAC website updated to 15 Jan, still under AP
1/19/2016: Status date on CEAC website updated to 19 Jan, still under AP. Passport still with Mumbai Consulate.
1/20/2016: Status updated to Issued, date 20 Jan. Passport still with consulate.
1/21/2016: Passport collected on Jan 21.. ustraveldocs website still showed status as waiting for Blue Dart to pick up from VFS Mumbai, but the passport had already arrived at the designated pick up location. Make sure you call up VFS to get the airway bill no, their website tracker may be updated very slowly.
