I work in the area of biotechnology. So, a 221g was expected. The visa officer asked a few questions regarding my company, if I work for any client (I am a direct employee) and whether I am married or not. Then he assigned a 221g to me and briefly explained the process. Later, another person in another counter asked to submit my current CV with list of publications and a document containing answers to four questions related to my research and work.
The process was identical to the one in 2013, that time also I got another 221g which was cleared in four weeks.
I submitted the doc in very early next morning on 24th February.
Yesterday first observed the change of status update date to 15th March, though it is still in AP. Let's see how it goes.
On 16th Match, just now, the status is changed to issued. Hopefully would collect by Friday.
