VO asked general questions regarding client name, address and the work I do. I also have a degree in biotech (though I dont work in bio anymore). VO asked me about my bio research background and asked me how long i did research in the field. Then he handed me the case 221(g) blue slip with a case number and selected the "administrative processing" option. He took my passport and resume and kept it with him. He said this was normal and I had nothing to worry about. He asked me to check the status of my case online and said I should hear back in 2 weeks.
Two and half weeks later -- My status changed to "Issued" online. I got an e-mail the same evening saying my passport has been shipped to the pick up location.
