Background: did my Ms and PhD in pharma in Us. Currently, I am on OPT working with small biotech company. Went to visa interview for renewing my F1 Visa.
Interview date: March 30 2016, was given a 221g white color slip. Got an email to submit Questionnaire, Resume, Publications and Invitation letter.submitted on March 31st evening.
First status update: 19 th April 2016, still Admin processing
Second status update: 6th May 2016, still Admin processing but got an email to submit passport for further processing.
Passport submitted: 9th May 2016 at VAC
Third status update: 11th May 2016, Issued around evening 4pm
Passport ready for pickup: 12th May 2016 evening.
Passport collected on 13th May 2016 morning
It took approximately 45 days from the date of interview and 42/43 days aftr document submission.
