221g White slip in Vancouver - H1B extension
I received 221g white slip on 6/18 at Vancouver for my H1B extension. My extension was already approved. The visa officer just got my passport and told me that i will get an email about what’s happening on my application.

No additional documents requested from side. Did anyone had a similar experience recently / heard about a similar one ? How long does it usually take ?

I had a interview on Friday 6/14 at Toronto- the VO said it'll take one week to get the passport.
the CSRA/US VISA website is still showing the status as 'Appointment'- I have opted for the premium delivery option. is there a way to find out the passport delivery status (i haven't received any email regarding the status)?

Thank you in advance

Premium Processing for Vancouver - Initial H1B Stamping F1 to H1B
Hello Everyone,

My Interview is on June 25 at 9:15 in Vancouver Embassy.
I have 2 questions if anyone can provide some information, I'll really appreciate.

1. I have seen posts where people with Interview on Tuesday received the passport by Friday same week. Is there anyone who can verify this specific to vancouver?

2. What address to use to make sure we get the passport by Friday or earliest possible?

My flight is on Saturday morning from Vancouver. I am looking for ways to make sure I receive the passport by Friday.

Any information is highly appreciated.

Thank you all !

221g on H1b Extension: Ottawa CA
I attended the interview on May 6,2019 for my H1B extension, I am working as a full time employee in IT field from past 12 years in USA. I was not requested any documents and I do not see any updates on my case after May 6,2019. The receipt I received is a White receipt with "Further Review" option checked, Not sure how many more days it will take. Anyone who is on the same boat?

H1B Stamping experaince in Toronto, Canada
3rd extension - Last 2 times from India and this is first time outside India
7th year in US
First time stamping after I140 approval..
Have Visitor visa for Canada.
I797 based on I140.
My wife has H4 EAD but not working - She worked in India before we come to US, so we did not put that job in her DS160 as it was more than 5 years.
Working as FTE (Sr Developer) in one of the biggest companies in US and this is my 4th year with the employer
First stamping as an FTE for the above said company.
Last visa from prev employer expired on 2017
Used Automatic re validation once last year to enter back US after visiting Canada
BE - Comp Science.

We are 4 in the family.Kids : one indian born and one US born.
For interview only me and my wife went to embassy. As we stayed in our brother in law home in Canada we left the kids at home.
Parked the car at the garage next to consulate and left all mobile, smart watches inside the car and just carrying the car key.
Process :
Check point 1 : Just passports verified at front gate to make sure we have the appoinment
Check point 2 : after entering the building and before enterting the room, security check and at a counter verified the passports and ds160.
Room :
First counter given the passport then provided the I797 - Status check in canada, told them we are on Visitor visa. They Placed the passports and I797 in a green folder,
and provided with woking rules booklet
Next counter for finger print
Last one is the interview:
Questions :
You guys are married.? - Yes and we have two kids.
You got only 3 passports.? - One of them is US citiizen.

What you do for the company.?
How long in the US.?
Are you approved with I140.?
How long with this employer.?

To my wife:
Are you working.?
Were you working earlier.?

Your visas are approved, you will get your passports by next week.

Total - 30 minutes in and out, changed to Admin processing on the same day.

Tuesday - Interview
Wednesday - Changed to Issued around 11 AM EST.
Thursday - Got email for shipping details
Friday - 10 AM ready for pickup and collected the passports.

are you choosing upgrade to premium delivery, does it help?

Do you know if premium processing can be a bit quicker if pickup address is the Post office just next to US Embassy, 595 Burrard St in Van Bentall Complex?

I found from some ppl that shipping with-in vancouver can take up to 3 days even when visa was approved the next day of interview?

thanks
