Warning:
Some agents are claiming to have been appointed by the Consulate General of India and are misleading the public by claiming so. With the exception of M/s Travisa visa outsourcing for processing Indian visa, no other agents have been appointed by the Consulate and that the Consulate deals with members of the public directly.

This Consulate routinely organizes the camps where people can avail their passport and visa services.

Timings:
Submission of documents: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM - Monday through Friday (Token will be issued up to noon only.)
Documents delivery: 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM - Monday through Friday

Miscellaneous services application submitted at the Counter are serviced and delivered normally on the same day except in cases where prior references are required.

Application status inquiries must be made between 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM only.

Getting There:
The Consulate is located in the uptwon/Galleria area of the Houston, close to Loop 610 and Westheimer Street. The Consulate is located in one of the black tall buildings opposite to Double Tree Hotel.

Free 30 minutes parking is available in front of the building.

Driving Directions:
From international airport: Take beltway 8 west and exit to I-45 south towards downtown. At 610 loop, exit to 610 west, continuing to 610 south. Take the post oak blvd exit and take a right on post oak. The Consulate is on the right hand side, located in one of the three tall black buildings opposite to Double Tree hotel.

From hobby airport: Take I-45 north towards downtown and near downtown exit to 59 south (Victoria), and then exit to 610 loop north, and immediate exit to Westhiemer st. Make a left on Westhiemer and then take right on first signal: post oak blvd. The Consulate is on the left hand side, located in one of the three tall black buildings opposite to double tree hotel.

From Sugarland: Take 59 north towards downtown and then exit to loop 610 north, immediately exit on Westhiemer and make a left and then right on first signal post oak blvd. The Consulate is on the left hand side located in three post central, one of the three black tall buildings opposite to double tree hotel.

From downtown: Take 59 south towards Victoria, exit 610 north, and immediately exit on Westhiemer and make a left, and right on first signal post oak blvd. The Consulate is on the left hand side located at three post oak central, one of the black tall buildings opposite to double tree hotel.
