This is about my wife's H-4 visa. Interview happened on 13th December 2013. Normal interview questions to me only. Was given a white paper asking additional information about my job. Documents submitted on 23rd December 2013. My visa was cleared on 24th January 2014 but my wife was refused the H-4. The reason cited was 212(a)(9b)1. It is a refusal for upto 3 years if one has overstayed more than six months but less than one year. My company lawyers files additional evidence on 13th February 2014 in support of Stuti's candidature to receive H-4. My company lawyers are very confident that since Stuti was on J-1 (D/S) and she was not adjudged overstay by any court or DOS before she left USA so she cannot be considered an overstay case. Otherwise also her overstay has a lot to do with confusion and communication delays from the school administration where she was working as a post-doctorate. Now the case has moved from refusal to administrative processing and it has already been two months

I appeared for the visa interview almost an year ago and was issued a blueslip. VO did not ask for any document and the questions too were very limited. I had good interview - VO asked me 4-5 questions and i answered all and another indian lady took mine interview again and she started searching does this sponsoring company exists and what internal project it is and how many ppl r in the company and no of pp work in the same, do you have tax documents of company like that
and i answered all questions of that indian lady officer, both VO and lady discussed and gave me 221g with check box clicked admin processing needed before final decision can be took without further asking any documents to sumbit
still waiting to hear something about my application, any one got similar experience and success , please share
i got my second update on March 13 2014 , still no documents asked and its still showing admin processing now
