Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hi All,

I have filed marriage based green card. I received EAD and my i485 interview is scheduled for April end.
I’m currently on H1b, is it okay if I’ll change my job based on GC EAD before the interview???

Hey guys I really need your help,does anyone know how long it takes uscis to respond to form I-290B(motion to reopen case).
 my case I-130 was denied and abandoned due to the reason that I didn’t respond to NOID(notice of intent to deny) on time,and I was given the option to file form I-290B for my case to be reopen if I have the prove.Actually I responded to the NOID before the due date and I have the usps tracking that shows when uscis office received it.i have filled and summited the form I-290B including my prove,I got a mail from uscis that they have received my form I-290B and its in processing,it’s been 2months and no decision has been made on my case..pls anyone with similar experience?

I had my interview yesterday and everything went smooth, the only issue we had was based on the sponsor where the io said we need to last tax return (2018) and we should receive a letter .so my question
Does anyone ever experience that ?
If yes did you received you card after sending those documents?

My pd is December 2016!i filed concurrently form i485,i765 and i130 I was interviewed in January 2017 I’m on my second work permit. When I had my interview I wasn’t fingerprinted and they didn’t take any of our evidence we brought in. I don’t know if those were red flags. At the end of our interview we got a paper saying our case needed to be reviewed. I haven’t heard anything back from them Im regards to my green card. This may 2019 would be 3 years of marriage and 3 years since I’ve started this process. Now i lost hope everyone who filed after me is getting their green card and I’m confused

Please can some of you let me know how long it takes to receive the interview appointment notice with the date in the mail? I received an online update that my interview has been scheduled and they will mail it to me. How long does it take to receive the letter?

Hey everyone,

I’ve recently started to follow this forum. I was benchmarking my brother in law’s case as he had an earlier PD. His PD was August 2017 and he finally received his GC couple weeks ago. Since then I’ve been trying to estimate my interview date by following the forum. My PD is November 9, 2017. Finally, yesterday morning my case status has been changed to “ interview scheduled”. Now, I’m waiting for the letter notice to learn the interview date. I’ll keep you posted about the interview sate under this message.

Hope everyone else who has been waiting for months and years would hear positive. Ahenges regarding their cases soon.

My RD for I 485 is 09/10/2018. Can any of Detroit filers let me know if anyone got interview scheduled recently and what was their RD ?

Just trying to understand how far is the wait for my interview.

3/12/2019, I got case update email stating that my interview has been scheduled, but it almost has been 2 weeks and I still havent received my interview notice in mail, and myuscis website still hasnt updated my case.

Does anyone know how long these things take?

I am thinking on calling them on Monday if I dont receive it today.
