Case approved Baltimore Office
Phewwwww.....finally my journey started 3 years ago; from October, 2015 and ended by November, 21 2018. Thanks to members of this group who provided very valuable suggestions.
Here is my timelines:
October 8, 2015 - i130 applied F2A Category
6 months later- i130 approved
October 10, 2017- i485 applies
November 2, 2017- i485 case received
November 28, 2017- RFI mailed, RFI returned and received by Feb, 2018
March 22, 2018- Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview
After 5 months later (August 24, 2018)- Finally Interview was scheduled for Sept, 27 2018
Interview day- very basic questions, mostly from i485 form, provided enough evidence, since my case was one year older just to be on safe side i did new medical (but officer told old one was okay) !!
Interview result: Case is under review 120 days
System never changed, still says "Interview was scheduled"

Tips: I created uscis.gov account

November 22, 2018- New card is being produced and will mail it to address you provided "Best Thanksgiving Gift ever"

November 23, 2018- Case was approved

It was very long, tiring and frustrating journey but what can i say it's worth while.

Everyone please hang-tight, we will all get there it's just the matter of time.

I am open for any questions.

Montgomery office
I called the USCIS center and I spoke with an officer asking him about the situation of my file because in 6.26.2018 the status for my I485 changed to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview". The officer told me that Montgomery, Al office is responsible for making the interview for you and we can do nothing for you now. I am trying to make an infopass in Montgomery office to see what happened, but I am dying to have a scheduled appointment. This office is new and it seems very slow in processing the files + it serves Alabama, part of Georgia, and part of Florida. I am still waiting for the rain.

Another RFE
So I I received an RFE on July 9th which happens to be the same day I did my biometrics, anyway I responded by the end of July. The rfe was about my husband not meeting the requirement for the poverty guideline so we decided to use assets! Which my husband has several houses that would be more than enough to use but we only needed to use one which we we did. I called Uscis sometime in September and I was told that my case is pending and nothing more was need from us. Last Friday I called Uscis because I didn’t hear anything from them since and the customer service agent I spoke to submitted a service request, now today I came home to a mail from Uscis only to see it’s another RFE about the samething! I’m so upset right now Why tell people to use their assets and then not accept it?????? Another thing what if I had not call them last week my case would’ve just been sitting there untouched and I’m here thinking I would be receiving my ead by next month which is the processing time for ead here in Detroit. I’m beyond frustrated with this process!!!!

GC at hand Baltimore
I have read about people’s experiences and felt the need to contribute mine to help others who are still in the process.

PD: feb 27, 2018
EAD: 07/25/2018 card was mailed to me.

10/02/2018: interview scheduled
11/06/2018: interview
11/08/2018: we ordered your card and case was approved.
11/16/2018: GC was delivered to my lawyer, picked it up from my lawyer few days later.

I already wrote about my interview experience in an earlier post, it was basically questions from the forms we submitted. I really wanted to be approved on the spot because i need to travel to my country in dec/jan, (guess i can now) but I wasn’t approved on the spot but luckily i was approved two days later.

We took evidences showing our relationships before and after we got married, ranging from letters we wrote ourselves before we got married luckily for us we still have them in envelopes with d posted date stamped long before we got married. The receipt of the flower I bought her when we were still dating, receipt of gifts she bought for me, bank account statement, bills, health, dental and vision insurance etc.

My advice for those still in the process, take as many evidences that indicates a genuine relationship whether its evidences before or after you got married, it really helps. AND DON’T FORGET TO PRAY FOR GOD’S FAVOR AS WELL.

And for those still waiting after interview, keep the faith, keep hoping and keep PRAYING and you will get your soon as well.

If you bave any question you can ask.

ALL THE VERY BEST...
