Greer, SC August 2019 Flier: RFIE Response Time
I recently discovered this forum and really love what this community is doing. I hope to eventually help others in a similar way once my process is finally completed.
My PD is August 15th, 2019 for a marriage based adjustment of status. I have received my EAD and completed my biometrics but I got an RFIE for my birth certificate on November 21st, 2019. I sent the correct copy of my birth certificate and USCIS received my response on December 10th, 2019. Since then, I have heard nothing concerning the status of my I-485. Since it has been a while, I’m wondering if it is worth it to go ahead and make an inquiry with them about my status or if I’m better off just waiting. I already have my renewed EAD so I’m not in any hurry. I’m just generally anxious to get my status changed to permanent resident. I keep hearing that the NBC is taking a while responding to birth certificates right now. I even heard of some people waiting several months longer than I have for their RFE response. Any information would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Guys, I was the one who filed without including my afidavit of support. I sent it to USCIS today with a cover letter and a copy of my notice of action. Anyone done it before? what are mychances that it will get attached to my file?? I didnt file with a lawyer.

Ct hartford filers who have recently had there interviews, can you share your interview experience please. Highlight some questions that you and your spouse were asked, were you separated during the interview, what was the interviewers attitude towards you etc.
