Approved in the Spot - What to expect?
For those who have been approved in the spot, did you receive your Welcome Letter or GC in your house even when the system was not updated to reflect that? I want to make sure if I have to see an update in the USCIS portal prior to receive my card or if there are cases where you received it and the system never was updated. Just wondering

i 130 and i485 denied
Hi everyone i was wondering if anyone ever had such experience.
My i130 and i485 was denied reason being that my DS 160 says married thou it was a common marriage and no documentation to show for it we only lived together for years. based on the fact that i have no documentation to back this up as we where never legally married i filled single in my i485 application. and uscis denied my application for that reason and gave me an option to appeal.
if anyone has been in such situation kindly advise.

Interview on 29th October/ no decision yet
Hi everyone, i was wondering if anyone had similar experience.
15th may case recived, no fingerprints appointment util in end of the august my lawyer called to ask what’s going on, apparently they forgot to schedule it. They did schedule it of 16th September and on 24th they scheduled our interview. Interview was easy and smooth, nothing crazy... basic questions. In the end he said ok, let me present your case to supervisor... he came back 5 minutes later and said: ok, i will finish my review and i will make decision, and if it’s approved you will get the green card that’s pretty much it” he didn’t ask for more photos even if we had 2 new albums... he took new evidences we had to provide and that’s it.
My concern is that my wife was married from 2011 until 2018 and she filled paperwork for him but they split in 2014 and she never wanted to have anything with him, she doesn’t even know did he get his paperwork and when she was asked about that on interview she said she dont know what is the end of that case and that’s true.

F2B visa - Divorced children
Hi,
I am posting for a family member in regards to F2B immigration application. Hopefully someone can give some insight in this manner! Thank you in advance.
A green card holder filed an immigration petition for an unmarried (never married in 2013) biological son. The son decided to get married in 2017 but was divorced shortly after in 2018. Applicant has received an email recently asking to complete the DS-260 and affidavit of support.
Question: How would the previous marriage affect the case? Is it automatically canceled? Or the fact that he is single now, he can proceed with it and the immigration visa will be issued with no problem?

Will change of address affect the processing time of I-485/765?

PD 03/2019
Submit the 485 package on July 24 2019
Bio finished on August 24 (case status: 'Fingerprint Review Was Completed')
Then, I submit an address change inquiry because I moved from Seattle to NYC.
It shows 'my request to change address was completed' on August 26.
No new updates since then.
No EAD, no interview scheduled.
I asked my immigration lawyer if change of address will affect my waiting time (gets longer), and he said it's not what usually happens actually. But considering transfer to a new local office and the efficiency of USCIS, I am still worried it will longer my EAD processing time.
Anyone has similar experience?

I went for an interview on July 2019 in Miami.Everything went well.Last week I received a letter for 2 nd interview. it says an official immigration matter.Could this be a stoke interview?Do I need an attorney?
