Hi Everyone,
I have started the I-944 form and I am struggling a little. Has anyone gone through the process yet?
Just to sum-up my situation I am currently on a J1 trainee since Aug 2019, ending in February 2021 and I am getting married in a week. I will then send my AOS few days later.
As I am on an J1, I already have a private health insurance that will end in Feb 2021 too. Will my current insurance be enough for my AOS? It covers me for the next 8 months.
Also I am a bit concerned regarding the Education and skills part.
I have two French Hairdressing diplomas that I am getting translated, however I don't have the evaluation of equivalency. Do I need it?
I am not hairdresser anymore but Executive Assistant and Project Manager, and I don't have any certifications. I changed career almost 10 years ago now and I have proof of employment to certifie that what I am saying is accurate.
How can I prove that I have the qualifications without having certificates? I added a letter in my application explaining my situation with the proof of employment, and I am currently working in the US, so hopefully they will consider it as another proof.
Same question for my English level. I don't have any certificate but once again I do work and live in the US.
Has anybody being in my situation?
