SS long after getting gc
Hi all
My son finally had an appointment at the ss office today after having his gc since May. GC through marriage he’s my husband step- son. I got my gc last year Oct and I submitted his paperwork last Dec.
He got his gc without interview in May but no ss# came even though we selected that option.
Anyways after calling ss office numerous times and being told I can’t get an in person appt I contacted the senator Richard Blumenthal of CT and he was able to arrange an in person appointment for me.
Thank God now with his ss# he can work and do other things. He never got any work permit either. I also called the immigration office and they said I just have to visit the ss office. All’s well that ends well.
Big up to Senator Blumenthal, it’s my second letter to him and both times he was able to help.....
