Hi guys,
My birth certificate is from Mandal revenue office. It shows only my fathers name, doesnt show mothers name. rest of the information is correct.
what should i do about it?

what should i do about it?

My birth certificate had a different last name that was since dropped as we moved through different school systems in India. My official name as on my passport etc, do not have this last name listed in my BC.

I wrote a cover letter explaining this to be a cultural thing (which is true, as in certain states the last name is written first). I havent heard anything on that from USCIS. The only RFE I received was on a different matter altogether.
