Update

Hi guys, I want to make an update about my process for you.

My PD is 10/15/2017, I'm applying from Massachusetts, my field office is MSC.

On 01/19/2018 I got my EAD in mail;
01/23/2018 I apply to Social Security Number;
Yesterday 01/29/2019 Got my Social Security in mail;
and I went to MassDOT and I took the test, and got my Learner's Permit to drive.
Next week is my Road Test to get my driver's license.

Now, I'm waiting for an update for my interview or whatever about my I485.

I kinda figured it out

My pd is 10/31/2017. From this forum, It seems like around 115 days is now a realistic timeline to get the EAD. Just to be sure, can someone tell me if the next step after getting ead is to wait for the interview notice? And also let me the rough timeline for processes here on out please? Thanks!

Day 110 and still not a sign,I don’t think is USCIS messing up,our attorney’s secretaries must’ve done something,like in my case that dumd A...asked me when i needed AP,this was back in September before sending the paperwork,I said March was fine,so she must have filed on the paperwork I didn’t need the EAD card till then,I’m beyond words pissed off,someone please correct me if am wrong,because I take my chances to get arrested everyday for not having a drivers license.

The I-765 doesn’t ask when you need it. I-131 asks about travel plans but it shouldn’t affect the timing of when you will receive it.

EAD and approval: january 16
Combo card in hand: january 18
Applied for ssn: january 19
Notice of interview (norfolk Virginia): january 26
Interview will be in March.
Looking forward to my interview and receiving my ssn.

We got the same dates but I haven’t gotten anything yet not even an answer to my inquiry,I’m beyond words frustrated,what center is taking care of your case? Mine is NBC,seems like something’s wrong,I hate it though

Ok now I’m starting to get a little concerned,we got the same dates and the same center NBC right?,and I haven’t even heard response to my inquiry,this is bull crap

Hi Enam! When I went to the Social security office, I just brought my passport, EAD card and my marriage certificate. All of the documents has to be original and not photocopied. You can just walk-in to get a SSN but my advise is to go early in the morning as they open so you won't have to fall in a long line or also you make an appointment by calling your local SSA office.

Hey Jabalin, I understand that it is frustrating to wait. But don't lose hope. I'm pretty sure they're going to give you some updates soon. Maybe contacting a congressman or a senator will help? Some people do that and it worked for them.

Hi, my wife is category C9, i am her US Citizen husband for 9 years. We are on day 153 and still waiting for her EAD, USCIS says she is still in line to be processed. Some people get it very fast, some people it takes forever for some reason.

Have you raised a service request yet? I think you should call them and raise a service request and let them know that your I765 application has been over 90 days and is outside the normal processing time. You should get an answer from them within 3 days of receiving your inquiry.

Received Interview Notice! October filers

I'm super glad to share the news, since I have been following this forum since the day me and my husband decided to get married. This can be a very exhausting process, more because we don't know anything.
I share my timeline, because I know how much hope can somebody get out of it.

LOS ANGELES

PD: OCT 13 2017
Confirmation: OCT 26 2017
Biometrics notice: NOV 3 2017
BIO appointment: NOV 17 2017
EAD and approval: DEC 16 2017
EAD arrived: DEC 20 2017

- So far, my USCIS case online did not update since oct 25th.

Notice for interview: JAN 31 2018 (EMAIL AND TEXT for the first time)
Interview scheduled: MAR 7 2018

I have realized, like all of you that every case is different. I'm now preparing for my interview, nervous and excited. I'll share how it goes.

I know, right. We are on day 112 and still waiting too, no response on the SR filed 01/02. I am assuming that the agent handling our case is on vacation because I just can't understand whats going on.

EAD is being produced/ Marriage Based Case

After 114 days, we eventually has received an update! Our EAD is being produced.
Not sure how quick we receive it, but it is a relief that we received an update. I hope we will receive an interview soon. Fingers crossed!

Congratulations! You will probably get the notices and the combo card within 1-2 weeks. Next is the interview! 😊
