Uscis isnt responding to the congressman on my behalf either. Ombudsman office just keeps sending an e-mail to me saying they are backed up and it might take 90-120 days before they can look into my case. After the first 90 days they sent me that e-mail again. Straight up BS.(c)9 AOS K1; January 23rd 2017

Yeah I followed up with the lady at congressman's office, she told me USCIS have a backlog of congressional inquiries.....so many people have their congressperson involved that they're backed up with inquiries LMAO... Why can't they just work harder and solve the problems so that fewer people would have to involve their congressperson?!Originally posted by Mascarade View Post

Also there is virtually no time limit to process an RFE response, they can just keep my case pending FOREVER.PD - 3/2/2018

Because that would be to easy. The way I see it playing out we are all stuck until after the 2020 elections. Immigrations has always been and looks like it will remain the driving force for election seasons. My biggest question is if the Dems win do they really expect legal immigrants to wait behind "The Dreamers" before they get to us because that's all they've been talking about. Then again Reps win it's still an immigrations **** show like it is now. We are all being played and its sad but like Kermit the frog said "That's not my business" lol.Originally posted by AngelaPhelan View Post

Plz nooooooo not until 2020. Just like Angela, I’m waiting on final decision on 485. Interview completed and RFE response sent. It so nerve wrecking but all we can do is pray and hope for the best. Let’s keel each other posted. I hope you get your interview soon as you have been waiting for too long.

Recently ran into an acquaintance who got married to a US citizen in August 2018 and applied for AOS in September. The couple is Atlanta based as well, they had their interview in June and green card was immediately approved. So that does give me hope that interviews are happening and things aren’t completely static for us in GeorgiaAOS, spouse of USC - Atlanta, GA

Update guys! I got an email saying "New Card is being produced" today. They updated on the uscis.gov website, but on the DHS one it never changed, still "interview was scheduled".
Now I hope they don't send the card to my old address like they did with my interview notice.... the worries are real...
Plz I think they'll approve yours really soon since you submitted your RFE response not so long after mine. I waited 103 days for the approval, and finally it happened right before 4th of July thank God. I'm gonna have a few more drinks tonight....
Things do seem like they're moving in ATL field office, extremely slowly, but it's moving at least. And I got 2 RFEs, don't make the same mistakes guys... it will tremendously slow your case down.
Below is my timeline:
3/2/2018 - Sent out everything
3/12/2018 - Got receipts for everything
April 2018 - Fingerprint appointment
July 2018 - RFE from Chicago for i-864
July 2018 - RFE response sent to Chicago
August 2018 - Case ready to be scheduled for interview
9/11/2018 - EAD combo card received
1/18/2019 - Interview was scheduled
2/26/2019 - Interview
2/26/2019 - Got RFE for Birth certificate notarial at Interview
2/26/2019 - i-130 approved
3/21/2019 - RFE response sent to field office
7/3/2019 - Card is being produced

Honestly don't understand why they haven't scheduled an interview for your case. Interviews are scheduled pretty quickly for people filed in 2018... I would take it to federal court if I were youOriginally posted by Mascarade View Post
