I think it should all be fine even though you did not include the cover page you had typed up. It sounds like you organized it very well. So it should all be self-explanatory to the person who does the intake of your petitions.

The I-765 & I-131 are optional. That will not cause your filing to be rejected. Just wait and see. You should be able to call USCIS 10 days after they receive your package and ask for your receipt numbers.

Our interview was this morning, it was actually pretty simple.

We arrived 40 minutes early and the interview was 40 minutes after the scheduled time, but there was a cafe and we chatted hung out and it was all fine. We brought a full scanned copy of our initial application as well as a new packet with updated documents (new lease, more recent bank statements, updated car insurance, etc.). We also brought the medical, originals and copies of all civil documents and USCIS correspondence, and a photo album.

The officer was pleasant. After confirming our names, DOBs, and that kind of stuff, she asked two questions:
1. When and how did you guys meet?
2. Have you taken trips together?

She looked through our pictures, laughed at one of my husband carrying our dog in a backpack (she's not a small dog, but the pavement was too hot for her paws!) and, oddly, asked ME to identify people in a family photo (it was my family LOL, so I was like "uh, well, that's my mom... and that's my grandma...).

For the first question, my husband kind of sped things up and said something like "we met on XX, 2017, had our first date that week, then kept dating and I proposed" (compelling narrative, I know ) so she asked "What, in a week????" so we corrected it and then she asked about the date of the proposal and raised an eyebrow at my husband's response because we married only three weeks after he proposed (up until now, he had been the one talking) so I chimed in and said "that was me, I couldn't wait!" and she smiled.

Then she went through all of the questions on the I-485. Then she flipped through our documents. Then she gave us the "hold for review" paper (I heard St. Louis almost never approves on the spot so we were not expecting to be).

All told, it was probably 15 minutes.
Now just waiting for the approval notice!

Did you print again forms that were sent? From interview mail it says to bring I-864 form again, I guess I am gonna reprint it again. Did you have the same documents package as you sent, trying to see if I need to print everything again ( not including new lease/insurance )

We had absolutely everything from the initial application, including copies of the checks for the filing fees. Prior to filing, we scanned the whole thing for our records. She did not take a single page from the copy of the initial application.

So I actually did a whole new I-864 because I was a student when we applied and now I'm employed. We had used my husband's salary as the intending immigrant because obviously mine was not sufficient. No co-sponsor. When we handed it to her she said "what is this? I don't need this, you already submitted it and it was approved, take it back". The interview notice states that you should bring it unless you've already submitted it. We did, but I wasn't sure how we stood because of our situation, but I guess you should only bring it if they specifically ask. Or bring it to be safe but don't try to hand it to them unless they ask!

She took the new lease, new insurance info (auto, health, life), new bank statements, direct deposit forms showing part of my paycheck going to his/our account, new receipts from vacations, new fb and text messages, and new photos. She gave me back the new I-864, my tax transcripts, pay stubs, and employment letter without looking. My husband had a ticket because he forgot to renew his license plate registration. She said she didn't want a copy, but I forgot it was already in the stack I handed over, so she has it anyway!

I literally went through (A COPY OF) the interview notice with a pen and highlighter and marked what we had as I put it in the folder.

We had:
1. Entire original application
2. Folder with original & copies of civil docs (bc, passports, etc)
3. Folder with original & copies of USCIS correspondence
4. Folder with travel & employment & address info of my husband (originals & copies)
5. Packet of new documents to hand in, with a cover letter
6. Physical photo album

Received an I-797 for both the I-130 and I-465 today (October 22, 2018). Received the text messages on October 17, 2018. Now we're waiting for a second letter for the Biometric appointment.

Also, my wife has decided that she wants to file I-765 as well, but since we did not file it concurrently with I-465, what would be the best course of action for us? We're thinking of mailing the form I-765 along with a copy of both I-797 and hope for the best, but any assistance or advice provided would be deeply appreciated!

I want to say thank you for everyone here who was participating in communications, this forum was really helpful for me.

Yesterday we had our interview in Boston, MA in early morning. When I saw officer it was a huge surprise as it was same person who interview me last year for my citizenship!
He called me first and told my husband to wait. Asked me couple questions from the form ( name, dob, address), how many marriages I have, my husband has ( just this one for both), do we have children (we don't).
Asked name, dob of my husband, date of wedding. Then he asked how did we meet, when, where was our first date. After that he started writing down all my answers on a paper in one column, I was expecting he will ask my husband same questions and then compare. When our relationship turned serious, I told when we started to live together(2014), after that he was like oh wow and you live together from that time, I said yes. Then he asked if we are still at that place, where was my husband living before we met, what was his occupation. Who proposed whom, when? What do we usually do on a daily basis? I was not sure what he meant so told travelling, going to cinemas, restaurants, events, shows. After that I gave him new home lease, he was happy, new car insurance, new home insurance, all for 2019, he took everything. Made copies of couple our wedding pictures, didnt even look in the album of all other pictures (not weeding), that was a big album lol.
Then he called my husband. Asked regular questions, his name, my name, his dob, my dob, wedding date, when was the last time he entered usa, asked to give i-94, what type of visa, then asked him how did we meet, when, where was our first date. Where was he living before we met and that was actually it about relationship. Then he asked him NO questions. When all questions were done he told that he is not able to make decision right now because he doesn't have results for husbands background check (not sure what does this really mean, fingerprints were done in march, maybe they didnt send results??) Anyway we felt like all went pretty good but not having decision on a spot definitely made us little bit sad. He told once he gets results he will make decision and if it will be positive we likely should get green card in 2 weeks from his decision.

In the evening at 6 pm we got notification that status changed to "New Card Is Being Produced"!
We are very happy that all done finally and we have great news!

That's amazing news! Congratulations! Remember that you are now on the I-751 removal of conditions wagon. You will submit evidence since the date of the marriage. Even if you submitted X, Y or Z for AOS, you would still submit it. Redundant? Possibly. However, AOS and the I-751 are not adjudicated at the same place. The I-751 is typically adjudicated at the Service Center and interviews are usually waived for those who submit extensive documentation of bona fide marriage.

Hi, just an updated. On Saturday, November 3, I received an email that my interview has been scheduled. We're just waiting on the mail to come so that we can see what the date it. We have a cruise on December 15th so i'm hoping it's not on that date because we will have to cancel the cruise. Of course the green card interview is more important, no way will we reschedule. Here's my timeline:

2/16/18 - Mailed paperwork certified mail to USCIS
2/20/18 - Paperwork received by USCIS
3/5/18 - Received Notice of Action, I-797C
3/10/18 - Received appointment for Biometrics
3/20/18 - Biometrics completed
4/6/18 - Raised SR to have EAD expedited due to job offer
4/13/18 - Faxed proof of job offer
4/18/18 - Status for I-485 changed to Case is Ready to be Scheduled for Interview
5/2/18 - Status for I-765 changed to Card has been produced.
5/4/18 - Status for I-765 changed to Card has been mailed.
5/7/18 - EAD received today by US Postal Service. Received Tracking number also via email.
5/8/18 - Tracked my EAD. Says itll be delivered tomorrow by 8pm.

Immigration judge granted adjustment of status at individual hearing

Immigration judge granted my adjustment of status with filing is citizenship and withdraw my asylum case. So should I just wait for green card ? Or do I need to do info pass to summit what immigration judge granted letter to USCIS? Help me

So, I called USCIS and they stated because the interview was just scheduled it doesn't show in their system. WEIRD. If it's scheduled, why wouldn't it be in the system. He said it could take up to 2 weeks. Have you ever heard of that?
