    My PD is 3/18/2018.
I am assuming any time between those months. This information was provided by my lawyer but could be wrong. They manage way more cases so maybe they have seen a trend.

10 days after renewal I got a letter confirming I did not need to have background check so I would expect to have the renewal in 4 months (~) maybe early May?

In general I am not in a rush :-). Do you know anyone else from Seattle who applied in similar dates?

Your timeline isn't clear but how many months from PD/RD is your expected interview schedule in April/May assuming 2019?
Did your lawyers give you this expectation?
I was also wondering how long after your EAD renewal was sent out did you get back a Notice of Action from USCIS.
Thanks again for taking time to respond.

I am about to reach the 120 day mark before my EAD/AP date of expiration, and I plan to send an early renewal application on the 119th day mark.
There seems to be indications from others in the forum that an application to extend EAD/AP triggers an interview schedule being set.
Looking forward to read any response.

I am personally aware of someone in NYC filing in Queens for AOS last April 2018 and has gotten their GC interview January this year.
Hopefully your interview is coming up soon too.

My wife have applied for my GC and we are in F2A category. Our I-485 is Interview Ready to Schedule it since July 2018 and our priorty date is April 2017. I am currently on OPT (F-1 Student) visa and it is expiring it in June 2019. I have EAD card which got approved in Aug 2017 for which I filled it with I-485 last year.(I-485,765,864,131). I have applied for EAD extension in Feb. My question is since my visa is about to expire and EAD is going to expire in July 2019, I need work authorization to continue my work or I cannot work after that. Does my case falls under expediate I-485 interview process?
USCIS requires that one or more of the criteria below are met:

Severe financial loss to company or individual

Example one: The applicant is currently working for a company in the United States and in order to continue working he or she needs to obtain a green card. In this case, you would need to convince USCIS that your position in the company is essential and the company will lose a substantial amount of money if you do not receive an expedited green card.

Example two: Your U.S. citizen spouse isn?t employed and the family would suffer severe financial loss if the foreign national does not obtain an expedited green card.

    An extreme, emergency situation

Example: The foreign national fears persecution or serious harm in his or her home country if forced to leave the United States if the application isn?t approved within a certain time frame.

    New York march 2018 filers

Hello guys, i am writing here to understand better what to expect and when.
my wife and I got married and then we filed all the paperwork all in once to have her become a green card holder. (she came here with the touristic visa - ESTA)

we filed in March 2018 (last year)
she took the finger print in april 2018
last june we had to go back to Italy for an emergency and she got an "advance parole" permit to travel
we got back here in semptember and she got her emplyment card and Social Secuiry Card.

however since last july 24 (2018) we have been reading "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview"
at the beginning of the process we have been told that in one year (by march 2019) she should have had the interview.

is there anyone else that started the process in new york city in march last year and got interviewd or got the noticed about it?
how long does it take yet according your experience
    thank you very much

My I485 status changed to ?case is ready to be scheduled for interview? on April 24th. And nothing else after that. Is this normal? My field office is Minneapolis Sanit Paul.

My second question is about I130. All my correspondence are coming from National Benefit Center. And all my receipts start with MSC. There has been no update or status change on my I130 aplication other than ?case was recieved?. Should I130 get ?approved? at some point or that is not neccessary? When I want to check peocessing time, selecting I130 in the first field, National Benefit Cneter is not an option from the drop down menu in the secons field. I am a littel confused as why not?

    Any help is appreciated.
P.S. I reciieved my Combo Card in October.
    Hi there,

Your I-130 is supplemental to your I-485, so its really the I-485 processing times that you should be looking at, if you check at https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ Minneapolis, St. Paul is indicated in the drop down menu for processing times on the I-485 - its 15 to 26.5 mos. That's the period you are to expect to be called for your first interview whereafter an approval for a conditional green card is the successful outcome. If you reach the end of the processing times estimated for your area without receiving any updates or notice of action from USCIS then you can raise a service request. Right now it seems they are only opening files for family-based AOS dated April 2017, so it could still be quite a wait for you.

Hope this helps your concern, this is my personal opinion and should not be taken as legal advise.

    Cheers,

I applied to renew my EAD. I received a receipt and a letter stating they will reuse my fingerprints. I also got an interview letter after applying for the renewal. I had to reschedule my first interview (original date was a month ago) so I don't think the renewal triggered the interview.
