Sorry it's been a hectic week.

We arrived for our 9am interview at 8:20am as we figured we'd need extra time to get through security. We needn't have bothered as we were the only one's going through at that time. We signed in and waited for my name to be called.

8:55am we were called and my husband and I followed our interviewer into his office. He asked me my husbands full name and DOB and then he asked my husband the same thing. Then he asked us how we met, where we spent our vacations and if we had any other additional evidence to prove our relationship. I gave him our cell phone bills for the last 6 months, copies of a photo album, and pages of text messages, cell phone calls and messenger (which he barely glanced at). He also asked us random questions from the application like if I'd ever been denied entrance to the US (I said no).

After that he started telling us that we needed to submit to remove the conditions 90 days before expiration, to keep collecting further evidence of an ongoing relationship and to be expecting mail from USCIS. My husband and I were a little confused as we'd only been in the room for about 10 minutes. So I asked him "what kind of mail?" and he said "your green card". He finished hole punching everything, we thanked him and walked out. 15 minutes max. It wasn't until we were waiting by the elevator to leave that my husband looked at me and said "so what does that mean?". It was rather adorable the look on his face when I told him we did it.

USCIS sent me text updates that day to say that my card was being produced that day. It was sent out Friday and arrived this morning (Monday 15th July) along with my social security card.
    Congratulations! So happy for you!
I’m still waiting for my interview date. I just can’t wait to be done with this.
Goodluck to everybody who are are still waiting.
