New Online Tools Reduce Wait Times for Callers
The USCIS Contact Center is currently experiencing higher than normal wait times for callers to speak to a representative. While we work to resolve this, we encourage you to use our online tools.

The USCIS Contact Center is changing its hours of operation to ensure that we have the maximum number of representatives available during the busiest times of day.

Representatives are available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern, Monday ? Friday (excluding federal holidays).
I think it might be to accommodate the pacific time people? Like myself....
It took an hour waiting time for me to talk to a representative today.

Concurrently filed i485, i765, i130, i131 sent to Chicago Lockbox. Received on 27 September 2018. Field Office is Las Vegas, NV. They sent out receipt letters and scheduled the bio appointment in October. They cashed the check 2 October 2018. The website was updated to that point. That's the last update I have. We went to the Bio appointment on 29 October 2018. The appointment was for 2pm, we showed up at 1pm and were out by 1:30pm. I thought the process was going to be way easier than what I've heard. Come mid February and we receive the i693 Courtesy Letter dated 7 February 2019. So we've heard nothing else since 2 October, but at least now I know somebody has looked at our case.

On another note, does anyone have any experience like this: I am a US citizen. My wife is the one applying for the green card. We were married in 2014. She didn't want to leave her home for the US so, we did other things for a few years. Our child was born in my wife's home country. We obtained a CRBA for our child and the child is a US citizen with a US passport. We returned to the USA and my wife decided we should stay. I'm not worried about my wife's green card denial (just frustrated that I don't know where the process stands) but my wife is worried they'll deny her. She had a rough experience with immigration at LAX once. I just wondered if anyone knows the likelihood of denying a green card to a spouse and parent of citizens. Maybe I can ease her mind a little.

That's very interesting! I mean there are a lot of applications! And we always complaint about how chaotic the process is. But the truth is that the whole process is very complex and has many applications coming in daily.

I will only fax the letter from company, do you think I should send something else?

I know some people added a cover letter as well. However, in my opinion given that your PD is basically current now (date for case inquiry is 9/11 today), I don't see why they'd even need anything to expedite ... but that's a different story lol

    Hope this helps!

I had the same thing happen (on February 15, 2019 your request to have your case expedited was completed etc.), and then three days later I submitted my proof. I have had no updates since. They took my email when I submitted the request though, and sent an email asking for proof (after I got the update saying my expedite was completed). I think it would be highly unlikely that they accept your expedite without proof. You could call them and ask where to send the proof, hopefully you should get an email asking for it, with a number to fax it to.
The problem that the officer who did the request for me did not ask for an email. Could you please include the content of the email they sent to you?
