Have you called USCIS? We are in the same boat as you, still awaiting biometrics appointment. Some local offices are slower (we are in St. Louis) and when I called, the Tier 1 rep said some were taking up to 2 months to issue.

That being said, I submitted a formal inquiry online last Friday and it was assigned to an officer for processing/response the same day, so I’m expecting some news this week. I will keep you posted!!

I also talked to one of the representatives and he set up a request for delay in the setting up biometrics appointment for my case, which I believed could have been done online. He mentioned that such requests have to be resolved in 15 days but let's wait and watch if this helps.

Btw, how did you come to know that your case inquiry has been assigned to an officer?

Is it weird that I did not receive a NOA for the i130 but I had for 485 & 765??? I’m going to ask my lawyer tomorrow but looking for advice

Hey guys, I just want to give you an update. I received a letter through mail yesterday (11/18/2019) for my biometrics appointment. The letter is dated 11/08/2019, and the appointment will be on 11/26/2019. I signed up for email notification but I did not get any email, just the letter.

Thanks for the update. Looks like there had to have been some sort of glitch since those of us missing our notices have the same or very similar filing dates. Sending positive vibes that we all hear back very soon!

Our timeline is as follows.

Oct 1: Documents mailed (Los Angeles)
Oct 2: Received
Oct 2: Checks Cashed
Oct 11: Received three hard copy notices
Oct 18: Biometrics Appointment Notice Received
Oct 19: Biometrics Completed (Walk in)
—— No update since.

The case is at NBC and it’s AOS (married to USC)
we are a little worried that finger prints are not updated on the website, should we contact or is it too early? We walked in a different USCIS office, could there be problems related to that?

I initially filed in October (10/22/2019), but my application was rejected because I filled out the wrong version of the I-485 application (rejection notice 11/06/2019). Here is my updated timeline:

F1 to AOS
11/08/2019 mailed out my AOS package.
11/12/2019 AOS package received by USCIS Lockbox.
11/15/2019 card charged by USCIS $1760.
11/19/2019 received 4 Official Receipts Notice (I-797) via text.

my husband and I are about to resubmit our AOS because we haven't gotten any receipt yet and think we might not have been very precise on the envelope. For those of you who did get a notice of receipt from the Chicago Lockbox, what exactly did you write on the envelope?
also, is there a way that somebody signs the a delivery receipt at the Chicago Lockbox?

Our credit card just got charged today for the fees ^_^ means it started rolling already! No text message yet tho, but its ok. We’re already relieved forms are in.

What's the exact address that you wrote on the envelope? We sent our AOS package and it was delivered to the Chicago Lockbox on Oct 17th but we haven't received anything so far and we're beginning to think that we skipped something on the address. Also did you use signature receipt?

what day did you file? I would suggest you wait until USCIS sends you a notice. The wait period has increased and if you call the 1-800 number on the official USCIS Website they would be able to help you

The "August 2019 Filers" thread shows that so far the majority of the August filers are now having their status changed to "Ready for Interview to be scheduled" and receiving their interview appointments for dates in December.

So for those of us in "fingerprint review completed" status now is the time to just settle down and be patient for the next two months or so, also considering many more people filed in October than any other month in 2019.

Sounds about right. My thing is why are they sending out EAD Combo cards & then a month later sending you to interview: what a waste of resources no? But I digress USCIS needs to improve and overhaul their tactics

October 10th, 2019 filer here (with immigration lawyer). Filed concurrently for I-130, I-485 and I-765.

October 23rd: Notice date on NOA for all

October 30th: NOA received in mail from MO

Early November (can’t remember exact date): Received biometrics appointment

November 18th: Had biometrics done (same day USCIS changed to “fingerprint review was completed).

My case is being looked at, at the National Benefits Center (NBC).
