Since you are getting I-693 reminders or RFEs, that means USCIS is reviewing your applicaiton without waiting for your biometric, right?

Mail incoming today from USCIS. My status hadn’t updated online, so I figure it’s the courtesy letter for the I-693.

I’d read somewhere that that usually also means no further RFEs. Let’s hope so.

I got courtesy letter yesterday but with white colour.

Apparently the colour doesn't matter. Regardless, what I find interesting is is that this courtesy letter is usually received after the biometrics would have been completed.

May not make any real difference overall. We'll see if anything gets waived. (I don't think I have any biometrics that can be applied - my previous EAD had the "fingerprints not available" portion on it.)

I don’t think they will waive the biometric appointment, but maybe the process will be faster. For example, after the biometric appointment is done, the advanced parole card will be delivered soon.

I think they will start sending out the biometric appointments in June as they plan to open on June 4th.

So I received a courtesy letter today about I-693 Medicals. And I am wondering if I should have my medicals done now or just wait for a while (if I am to wait, until when?); I have already identified an authorized doctor not too far from my place.

Any ideas?

Day 16 - Check cashed
Day 19 - Text messages received
Day 21 - Hard paper I-797C receipts received
Day 38 - Email informing me about an RFIE
Day 42 - RFIE letter received (RFIE was for tax supporting documents)
Day 43 - RFIE response sent to USCIS
Day 48 - USCIS receives RFIE response
Day 56 - Courtesy letter on I-693 received

So it appears when we submitted the original application, we only submitted the IRS transcript tax returns and not the supporting documents (W-2s, etc...). So we’re making arrangements to submit all supporting tax documents as response to the RFIE.

Not yet. Do people know if we'll get a status update if we do get the appointment notification, or just simply wait for something in the mail?
