My USCIS account just changed to "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview".

I haven't even gotten EAD.

My timeline so far:

-01/27/20: Same sex couple, married to USC.

-06/29/20: Package I-130, I-130A, I-131, I-485, I-693, I-765, I-864, I-864 joint sponsor and I-944 sent via certified mail USPS.
-06/30/20: Delivered by USPS and signed by Chicago lockbox T Thomas.
-07/25/20: Checks cashed.
-07/30/20: Text messages received with case confirmation numbers.
-07/31/20: Received NOA's in the mail.
-08/05/20: Received RFIE notification from USCIS for I-485, letter to follow via mail.
-08/10/20: Received RFIE in the mail asking for my partner's pay stubs for the last 6 months and letter of employment.
-09/18/20: Mailed out RFIE to Lee-Summit's office.
-09/21/20: USCIS confirms they've received RFIE.
-10/27/2020: Called USCIS regarding biometrics appointment not yet scheduled. USCIS send E-Request to Chicago FO.
-11/10/2020: Immigration officer reaches out to me via phone call to explain the reason I haven't received a biometrics appointment, appointment will come eventually.
-11/23/2020: USCIS files another E-Request for biometrics.
-12/04/2020: USCIS confirms biometrics appointment has been scheduled and letter with details is in the mail already.
-12/05/2020: Biometrics appointment scheduled for December 21st 2020.
-12/21/2020: Biometrics taken.
-12/22/2020: Biometrics applied to cases.
-12/29/2020: Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

Thanks. By the way, a discouraging story regarding Emma Live Chat: yesterday (12/29) I tried Emma Live Chat for the first time and got connected to what I assume is a Tier 1 officer. They said I had no bio appt scheduled in the system and I had to wait for 30 days to pass over my service request for them to be able to do anything. 1 hour later on the same day I get the e-mail from the attorney with the scanned bio appt letter, with a notice date of 12/12. So my bio appt had been scheduled since 12/12 at least, but the Tier 1 agent still told me I had no bio appt scheduled!

Same thing happened to me but with an agent on the phone and 3 days later an Emma Live Chat agent told me I had one scheduled, that all happened just before Christmas and mine was scheduled on the same date as yours (12/12)...so go figure ????♀️

Congrats! I received an Applicant copy and my attorney received one too...perhaps it's delayed by USPS

Got bio appointment dated 12/12, for 1/8. Bio appointment letter went to my attorney's office only, is this normal??

Congrats! How long from biometrics until you got new status that the new card is being produced? Did you request for expedite? I just had my biometrics last 12/11. I was wondering if I should request to expedite. I did request for expedite prior to biometrics. As expected, it was rejected.

Hey. Sorry was offline for past few days. I got my biometrics done on 12/10 and fingerprints were applied the same day. Then the approvals came is different stages from post decision activity, approval, new card produced to card mailed (with tracking details) from 12/21 to 12/28. Now waiting for action on I-485 post fingerprints applied status.

I did not request any expedited.

You can call them and try to speak with a tier 2 officer.
if i was in your position I would just go and do them. A lot of people got dublicate biometrics and they just did them

Thanks for your input, i'll try to talk to them today. Getting through to any human as proven impossible of late. I dont know why

I have a question and would like you guys input, Initially when i sent all my docs in they returned my i765 form because it was outdated, i got the updated form and resubmitted that one by itself. I got my biometrics done and also did my interview already. I am currently waiting on the approval decision even though the IO said we were good and will receive letter in mail within 30 days. Now today i received a letter in the mail to go do biometrics for i765, should i go do it since i already did my interview or what do you guys think?

You can call them and try to speak with a tier 2 officer.
if i was in your position I would just go and do them. A lot of people got dublicate biometrics and they just did them

Hi, just found this forum. Very helpful to see other people's experiences. Here's my story so far.

Concurrently applied for I-140 / I-485 / I-765 / I-131. I'm currently on H1B.

July 22, 2020: Application received by USCIS (Texas Service Center)

Dec 10, 2020: Received RFE for I-765 and I-131 (asking for new passport size photographs. Not sure why they want more photos...)

Dec 22, 2020: Biometrics scheduled for January 22, 2021.

That's basically all that has happened so far. Didn't hear anything from July to December and now all of sudden got RFE for photos and biometrics.

Lol, my biometrics appointment was tomorrow but all ASCs will be closed due to the federal holiday. FML.

Got rescheduled for January 2021. Received the letter today.

Call the immediately because if you don’t appear it will be considered that you abandon your case. Call and try o reschedule

Nah, it's okay. Website says I will be automatically rescheduled.
