  • Advance Payroll and EAD

    Hi

    Does it is necessary to have biometrics done to get the Advance Payroll and EAD cards.

    I have seen a couple of reports from people that got EAD/AP before biometrics, but most of us did the biometrics before receiving them.

      I called USCIS this week, just before I got my bio appointment date, and the agent I talked to indicated that unless I have my biometrics taken by USCIS in recent times (of) which they could apply to my Advanced parole (AP) and EAD applications, I need to have my biometrics taken to enable them work on my AP and EAD.
      1 = March 25

      1 - Application sent to USCIS Chicago lockbox
      2 - Application received by USCIS
      20 - 4 text messages received from USCIS
      22 - Four I-797Cs (NOAs) received by mail
      43 - Hardcopy of RFIE for tax documentation received in mail
      44 - RFIE response sent
      49 - RFIE response received by USCIS

        Thank you aph I guess that's why I have only read very few posts that people received EAD/AP without biometrics first.
