Our main concern is that my spouse's EAD expires mid March... and we fear that could have an impact if delayed more than that is not sure if the Bank will hold the position while we wait for for the EAD really hoping for the best. We moved from Chicago to San Francisco for my spouses job, if he loses the job the whole move would be for nothing (I'm remote) and we will be in SF with one salary. Thinking about requesting urgent EAD procedure for financial hardship but Lawyer advising against it as it will impact I-944... any advise please or people in same situation?

On a different note, it might be a good idea to split the topics not only by months but also by type of AOS... USC marriage isn't same timelines and process as Employment based. Just fruits for thoughts to help everyone. Thanks!

You can request an expedite 30 days before your EAD is set to expire. Takes a couple of weeks to get a new EAD. Also your NOA works as a placeholder, says it on the letter that it extends your care by a few months.

Anyone, calling USCIS to get an ETA on biometrics appointment? Are they able to give that info to you?

Yesterday I received my EAD card in the mail, and case is now ready to be scheduled for an interview

I went to the ASC office today when it opened and explained my dilemma (that im away for a month and my biometrics appt was in that time) to security and he managed to get an ISO to talk to me. The round of appts for the 10am slot were done in 15 mins so they allowed me to do my biometrics today instead of waiting an extra 6 weeks for a resheduled appt and having more months off work. I was so greatful. He told me off a few times for repeatedly apologising for breaking the rules, but ALL the staff were really nice to me.

Hello everyone, I checked my status online and it says a RFIE has been sent today. I submitted a change of address on the 10th of December, and have called USCIS a few times, they still haven't updated my address (they said it can take up to 30 days), so the RFIE has been sent at my old address. They said I could call in a week and they will email me the RFIE.
However, I have no idea what the RFIE could be, I checked and I submitted everything they needed (I-944 was submitted as well), except the medical exam. I haven't received the I-693 courtesy letter yet. I wonder if the RFIE could be that. Has anyone ever had a RFIE in their case status online, and it ended up being the I-693 letter?

When I got the courtesy letter for medical, there was no email notification. But I did get an email notification about RFIE when they sent that for I-944. So I am afraid it could be a RFE which is not a medical courtesy letter.
