    • I got update on my case (AOS for parent).. Appointment letter for interview is mailed to the applicant. Anyone had to go through interview process for a parent? If so, could you please share your experience on what to expect. ???? She doesn’t have birth certificate. We had submitted 2 affidavits as secondary evidence. Please let me know if anyone has gone through interview with similar situation. Thanks

                • It has been a really long time. Finally some update.

My I-765 was updated to "New Card is Being Produced" yesterday, 11/4/2021. I-131 still show as "Case Was Received".

From my research online, I will receive the combo card (really hope so), and I-131 typically updates later.

Anyway, good luck to everyone. This process is definitely stressful. Hope my interview will be scheduled soon.

9/25/21: Received biometrics appointment notice for 10/19/21
10/19/21: Biometrics taken and applied to case
10/27/21: I-485 updated via portal to "case is ready to be scheduled for an interview"
11/1/21: I-131 and I-765 updated via portal to approved
11/4/11: New I-765 and I-131 combo card mailed
11/6/11: Received combo card and approval notices for I-131 and I-765

I got my approval notice in the mail today for I-131 & I-765. How many days after you got the approval notice did your card arrive?

It arrived on the same day as the approval notices! Came via USPS priority. It was mailed on 11/4, so only took 2 days. If you have a USCIS online account you might see a tracking number under the I-765 case status.

                          • My interview is finally scheduled. Crazy enough, the update happened on Saturday, Nov 13th. I did not know that USCIS works on the weekend.

I do not know the interview date yet, but hopefully I will receive the notice letter next week. Based on other people's experience here, most likely the interview will be a month or so away.

Anyway, given that I filed in late March, I hope this is a sign that majority March 2021 filers will receive some updates soon. I know there are lucky outliers who have been approved a while ago, but I'm definitely one of the majority applicants who are not that lucky. My case has been ready to schedule an interview since July and I just received my combo card this past Friday.

Good luck to all and hope we all see the light at the end of the tunnel soon.
