In short, there is no one way of doing it and it is totally a personal preference. My attorney recommended me not to submit medical along with my AOS application. Further when I checked about interfiling when the cases were being processed quickly and when USCIS was asking people to keep their medicals ready, still they recommended that I wait until I get my RFE to submit medicals. I followed my attorney's advise. Saying this, I have seen people in this forum, get their GCs by both submitting medicals at the time of applying or through interfiling. Hope this helps.Originally posted by Priyapandian View PostBtw is it recommended to submit medical along with aos application? It is recommended to submit medical along with AOS. If you have submitted your medicals and the application is pending for long for more than 2-3 months with USCIS, it is still considered valid for the purposes of adjudicating. But if you haven't submitted medicals and did later which is older than 60 days (I guess) during your RFE, then it is considered invalid. That is why it is recommended to wait for RFE.Originally posted by Priyapandian View PostBtw is it recommended to submit medical along with aos application? There is mixed responses on interfiling medical than waiting for RFE. My attorney suggested to wait for RFE but i know someone who did not hear the attorney's advise and went ahead with medical. He wrote some covering letter for his response to USCIS. His case was approved within weeks. In other forums i am reading, some are still waiting even though they interfiled.
I did not submit my medicals during I485. One reason is that i have taken one dose of Covid Vaccine during my submission. I was told that i should not take any more vaccines in between Covid dose. Also, my spouse was not allowed to take at that time. So i just went without medicals. With cases transferred, Nebraska going on snail phase, i feel even if interfile - they are going to take their own time. So i feel to wait for them to come back.Last edited by rln8316; 01-04-2022, 04:26 AM.

shiva_82 i received the notice for biometric for myself and my family. It’s scheduled for 1/25. I think it must be 3 to 4 months to receive the ead and ap combo card I believe.Last edited by Priyapandian; 01-07-2022, 10:48 PM.

You must have applied for a SSN at the time of submitting your 765. I believe you must have received your EAD/AP. Now you are receiving the SSN that you had requested as part of the application.Originally posted by rmath View PostI received the social card for my kid today. Mine is Jan 2021. Pending. I'm eligible to raise a service request. I'm probably do it tomorrow though my attorney tells me that Nebraska so backlogged that I wouldn't expect to see anything change with my service request.Originally posted by Priyapandian View PostMine and my family status changed to fingerprint taken now. It’s wait period again for the medical rfe to come. My 140 with Nebraska is also pending PD 7/27/2021.
