I-485 - Case was transferred to a new jurisdiction

How can I find out how many EB1 485s are pending with USCIS? I'm trying to find out my chances of getting my GC this immigration year. Even while EB1 is current, there are no visa numbers for this month. So I'm afraid that depending on the pending applications, even while the status is current, the visas might run out.

Even if we are unable to find the pending applications, is it possible to find out until which priority date USCIS have issued GCs?

Yes, I dont understand how they operate this. Only reliable timelines we can depend on is 18 months for NSC and the date it displays when you input your receipt number. Either visa numbers are assigned but not adjudicated yet or they havent touched our cases. If they havent touched our cases, then what is the point of keeping it as "Current"?
With 2 weeks to go, i lost hope for this year and lets hope for 2023.

For my 485 to get transferred back to MSC, it took about 2.5 months from the time of my I-140 approval. I know its already long for you and you won't want to hear that. Hope you get to hear a good news soon!

Thanks CLAP20 . This helps. My 140 was approved in LIN. My 485 was originally with MSC but then they transferred it to LIN about 14 months back. Now I am waiting for it to be transferred back to MSC or a field office. The intention of moving 485 to LIN was that the 485 was going to be adjudged at the same when 140 was adjudged as my priority date was current but unfortunately LIN stopped processing 485s and I am stuck waiting for them to transfer my case back to MSC. Ideally they should have done it when the 140 was approved but didn't happen.

After 20 months of waiting including a 4 month wait after submitting a RFE response, my I-140 was finally approved today. It is such a relief. My 485 had been transferred from NBC to LIN last year for speeding up processing, hopefully they will transfer it back so I could get my GC at the earliest. Regardless, it is definitely such a relief that my I140 got approved!

The timeline would be corresponding to where your case is currently. So even if you have a MSC receipt number, if your case is currently with Nebraska, you should use that processing time. Based on my understanding Nebraska stopped processing 485s so the only outcome to expect is a transfer, unless Nebraska had already started working on your 485.

yes, i assume NSC processing time applies. All of the receipt number above and below me are transferring but no clue about my case number. There are some receipt numbers very recent from 2022 that are being transferred. Not sure why there is a delay in transferring. Perhaps it was kept aside to be adjudicated from NSC.

Priyapandian Our case went to Texas service center. I-140 got approved there and then they transferred our case to NBC. In the letter it was showing they moved it to Lee summit MO. But for I693 we send our medial report to Newyork as the letter came from NY. Did I answer your question?

CLAP20 you should get the GC before sep'22. BTW is your service center for 140 SRC or LIN? I have known SRC transfers file faster compared to LIN to NBC. Mine is in LIN and waiting to get the file transfer to NBC for them to issue medical RFE. But getting the file ready before that so that we can send once we receive the RFE. Hoping the best.

On August 19, we got RFE for medical and we sent that back on Monday. In the letter it was written that if you want to get GC in this fiscal year which is ending Sept 2022. We request you to send the I-693 asap.

I hope we still get it since only 1 month is left for the year to end.

I think you guys are doing good by getting Medical scheduled so that as you get the letter you are able to send it. My attorney didn't tell us but its okay we were still able to reply back in a week.

Of course. I have a feeling v shld get the file move to nbc in the next 2 weeks and rfe in a week after that. Overall I think 3 to 5 weeks. Being optimistic but possible .
