  • Traveling outside the US between 6 and 14 months , any risk for Greencard/natrualizat

    Hi

I need to travel to the UK for approx. 6-14 months in order to look after my Mother who is very unwell. I will continue to work for my company in the UK (currently working for them in the US).

How would this impact my US Greencard, which I received in Nov’04, and potential Naturalization process for applying for a US Passport? I am currently approx 18 months away from the 5 years period.

To confirm the longest period I have stayed in the US consecutively since I received my Greencard has been about 11 months.

Traveling outside the US between 6 and 14 months , any risk for Greencard/natrualization - I'm I eligible to apply for N-470 eventhough I do not work for a Govermant organization but work for a US company.

    Appreciate any feedback and assistance,
