I am an Australian citizen who lived and worked in the USA for five and
a half years. I have had a green card for the past three years. I was a
taxpayer in 2008.
However, I have now left the United States to take up a position in
Scotland and I will not be returning to live in the USA, but I will be returning from time to time as a visitor. When I finish working in
Scotland, I intend to return to Australia.
My question is, what do I do with my green card? Is there a form I need
to fill in, or do I just mail it back to them?
