      Hello Everyone,

Just updating we received in mail the confirmation receipt and reuse of biometric records (@NBC service center) on our N400.
Nothing to update on the pending ROC with LIN service center.

      Cheers,

        Hi everyone,

Just wanted to update that my i-751 was approved on August 4, 2022. I submitted my application on August 13, 2021 so it took a little less than 1 year. To that, I had to respond to a RFE, which I responded to on July 21, 2022. It took about two weeks to hear back from USCIS with the approval and that they were issuing my new card.

My app was processed by the CA service center.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Congratulations! CA Service Center takes 10 months to address 80% of the cases. That is very impressive! My case is in the Nebraska Service Center and its average is 17 months. I am actually expecting that or slightly longer. So as a June 2021 filer, it should be between Nov and Jan 2023.

Hi Gaps! I will not be filing N400. In my state is taking so long for removing conditions, and I am not in rush to become a citizen. I will wait for getting the perm green card.
Getting N400 approved in my city takes 1.5 years...so that means that I would have it in December 2023 or later...my concern is that N400 will delay removing conditions...do you have a different info? :-)

                Hi B_Andie,

No I don't have any special info. I have been active in the other immigration community forum and there seems to be agreement that if you are qualified for naturalization you should go apply for it.

My I-751 is lodged with LIN, the average processing is 17 months, so I hope to hear something from them at the earliest in December.

My 797 extension on ROC expires in October 2023.

I filed for N400 because Seattle now is working through their backlog and it seems that people are getting naturalization interviews as early as 8 months and latest at 12 months. So if we get any luck, I hope to get ROC or naturalization processed before October 2023.

                Cheers,

Thank you, Gaps! Quick question, do you have a summary of what pieces of evidence you submitted in your N400 application? Thanks!

I have received my replacement Green Card at my specified home address. However while my application was in process, I had started my international travel with my old Green Card in possession which has an expiry date of 9/17/2022. I intend to enter the USA before that date. My question is, as a new replacement Green card with an expiry date of 2032 has now been issued to me, will I be able to enter the USA with my old green card before its expiry date? The new green card is not in my possession during this travel Will the airline attendant at the time of boarding and immigration authorities at port of entry be able to process/scan my old green card and allow me to enter the country? Please advise. Thank You

The standard evidence required is a copy of your green card and your marriage certificate.
The online form asks for other evidence such as tax returns, joint financial interest.
We basically uploaded 401s, joint bank statements, joint credit cards, auto insurance, life insurance, health insurance cards, financial and health directives, and photographs

The online N400 form can be completed in 30 days after you first start answering the form.

                      Go for it.

                      Cheers,

Your expired green card is recognized as valid if you present it with the 797-C original letter of extension provided that the extension itself is not expired.
Airlines and outbound immigration authorities know this and there is no reason for you to be worried, they only see what's in front of them, if its valid they don't make any problems for you.

Thanks gaps0214 for your advice! I do have the electronic copy of the letter. Hopefully your advice works.
In the past, I have seen the immigration authorities scan the card thru their machines to pull up my history on their screen. I am just worried that when they run the card thru their scanner it may not work as a new card has been issued.

Filed for N400 on June 13 2022 and received an interview schedule notice today September 10th. My interview date is October 25th. I am assuming I'll have both I-751 and N-400 interview at the same time. Good luck to all of us
