tauraos has your status actually changed on the website to “biometric applied”, remember all we got was the letter saying it is being reused. That is indeed taking some time isn’t it especially when it cannot be approved without that step!

Hey. No its still at Case Received. I got the finger prints not required notice back in August. Sometimes USCIS never changes the status. So I won't be surprised if they totally bypass this status. Also they may change it when an Officer starts to do final review. We will just have to wait with fingers crossed

Initial filing was 7/15/21. Green card expired 8/2/2021.
My application was returned with all the documents I sent. I-797c stated that it was rejected for incorrect amount which I was expecting. It took them over a month to reply and so my new filing date was after the expiration date of my GC. I filed my application again 8/28/21 and included a letter of explanation as my application was now late.
It was delivered 9/1/21. Acct was charged 9/2/21 for $680, text received 9/3/21. 24 month extension letter received 9/18/21. Biometrics waived 9/22/21.. fingers crossed.

I came across your thread regarding you application being rejected due to incorrect fee. I'm in the same shoe as you were- Application rejected & returned due to incorrect fee.
Could you please guide & help me with the explanation letter that you wrote for refilling, Correct filling fee- 2 separate cheques for biometrics & application or just one. Also do I have to start fresh with a new form etc?

Even my already expired by the time I got the application package returned from USCIS.

It'll be super kind & huge help if you could guide me with this.

my recent timeline for 1-751 and N-400 is below.
I filed jointly with my military spouse in July and after 191 days got approved yesterday.
Last year , Few months after I filed I-751, I also joined the army , so we are dual military now.I got to boot camp and they immediately processed my n-400 for naturalization.I believe I-751 has to get approved before they approve the n-400.
my N-400 got scheduled for interview in 45days after filing it in dec,soon after it got a scheduled for an interview they approved my I-751.
so for my interview in March for the N-400 it will be just me doing the civics and English test.Since the I-751 has already been addressed.
Hoping to get immediate approval and oath ceremony that day if possible .
