Already in India - wants to come back on advance parole combo card

    what was the timeline of your approval? I sent all my application stuff in June 2021 and still eagerly waiting for travel card but I heard it would be a combo with EAD. It has already been 6 months and still no update.

      Thank you for sharing the details. My wife is traveling this Wednesday on AP. We have an weird situation. My wife was issued the EAD AP combo card after she left US. This was approved on a special humanitarian basis by a USCIS officer based on my request when I went to get an emergency AP for myself and my son. So the EAD AP card has an effective start date which is AFTER she left US. While the USCIS officer said she could travel back with the card and my attorney said she should be able to return without any issue, I'm still worried. Fingers crossed.
