H1B Vs L1A for early GC processing

Hi,

I have few questions going in my mind. Someone who had faced similar situation can please help in guiding if possible.

From 2019 I am in Manager role in my organization in India. Earlier was in US for 3.5 years on H1B . Which VISA category will be more suitable leading to early GC, considering I have the flexibility with both visa in my organization.

1. H1B- Technical Role

2. L1A- Manager Role

Questions:

1. Which is better (salary is not constraint) H1B vs L1A for GC early approval?

2. Chances of approval of EB1 in L1A visa category later on. I know this is subjective and depends on case to case basis. But if someone can advise what will they do in such a scenario.?

3. If I get approved L1A visa , what happens to my H1B petition. Is it automatically cancelled?

4. If L1A gets rejected then is there any impact on my H1B petition.?

1) Both visa are eligible for EB1 if your role matches for EB1c
2) it depends
3) it’s a Change of status.
4) No impact . Your current visa will stay as is
