I-130 Employer Issue and I-485

Hello!

I am filing for adjustment of status from a F-1 visa. I also need to fill out the I-130.

1/ Question 15 of the I-130 is asking for employer info. I work for a company as an independent distributor. Technically I am my own employer, the company only gives me a 1099. What am I supposed to answer there?

2/ On the I-485 they ask for the current USCIS status. Are they referring to the visa or the work authorization (I have both).

3/ Still for the I-485, does the birth certificate need to be certified?
